Year of the Fire Horse – A Symbol of Strength & Inner Fire

Posted on May 01 2026

Over the past year, I started to dive a little deeper into Chinese astrology. When I learned that 2025 — the Year of the Snake — is associated with shedding, transformation, and new beginnings, it really stayed with me.

It also made me curious about what comes next.

Looking ahead to 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — I felt a completely different kind of energy. Something more expressive, more dynamic, and full of movement.
A sense of freedom, strength, and forward momentum.

At the same time, I had been wanting to collaborate with Melania from @miss.pink.coconut for a while. It felt like the perfect moment to bring this idea to life together — and also to gently explore something new within Moksha, beyond jewelry.

This illustration became that first step.

The meaning behind the Fire Horse

In Chinese astrology, the horse represents independence, forward movement, and a deep sense of inner drive. Paired with the element of fire, this energy becomes even more expressive — symbolizing passion, confidence, and bold new beginnings.

To me, the Fire Horse is a reminder:
to trust your path,
to move forward even when things feel uncertain,
and to stay connected to your own inner fire.

A special collaboration

To bring this vision to life, I collaborated with the incredibly talented illustrator Melania from @miss.pink.coconut.

From the very beginning, it felt like a shared vision — combining her artistic style with the soft, intentional, and feminine energy that is at the heart of Moksha. The result is this piece: warm tones, gentle strength, and a quiet sense of power.

The intention behind this piece

Just like my jewelry, this illustration is meant to be more than something visual.

It’s a reminder.
A feeling.
A small moment of connection.

Something you can come back to when you need grounding — or a spark of energy.

A piece to carry with you

Alongside this illustration, I also created a bracelet inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse, featuring yellow topaz — a gemstone often associated with confidence, joy, and inner strength.

While the illustration captures the energy visually, the bracelet is meant to be something you can carry with you — a small, everyday reminder of that same radiant and forward-moving energy.

What do you feel?

I’d love to hear what this piece evokes for you.

And I’m also curious — would you love to see this illustration as a print or something more in the future? If it resonates with enough of you in this community, I’d love to make it available.

Feel free to share your thoughts 🤍
